Reganèl

Mille soleils inversés brillent par leur obscurité opaque et diffusent les radiations d’une chaleur qui à l’inverse du brillant trop évident, souvent éphémère, se fait constante, nous traverse et résonne dans la longueur sur l’humeur et le bien être. Reganèl, l’ardeur du soleil en occitan, la langue chantante de mon grand-père, est pour moi l’occasion de revisiter, avec ma sensibilité discrète, la notion de lumière. Celle que je veux douce et tamisée, pour respecter mon besoin de quiétude et d’intimité, qui me permettent de développer une forme de puissance lente et profonde qui mène vers des choses plus légères comme l’inspiration qui emplit les poumons d’air vital et se propage dans le sourire du corps.

A thousand inverted suns shine with their opaque darkness and radiate a warmth that—unlike overly obvious, often fleeting brilliance—remains constant, penetrates and resonates over time with our mood and well-being. Reganèl—“the sun’s fervor” in Occitan, my grandfather’s melodious language—is, for me, an opportunity to revisit, with my discreet sensibility, the notion of light. I want it soft and subdued, to respect my need for tranquility and intimacy, allowing me to grow a slow, deep strength, that leads to lighter matters like the inspiration that fills lungs with vital air, smiling to the whole being.
