J’adore cette pochette ! C’est une photo prise par mon père que j’ai beaucoup manipulée, mais à la base c’était un enchevêtrement branches, de racines et de terre au dessus d’une surface liquide.
Je trouve que ça illustre bien cet EP qui développe des couleurs et teintes étranges souvent dissonantes et parfois piquantes. Techniquement c’est très basique: Un ampli guitare pour y passer certaines textures, un ensemble de percussions faites de bric à brac, deux ou trois micros, un synthé et voilà une production budget minimal que je suis bien content d’avoir produite. Il y’avait une chronique d’un blog qui était vraiment sympa, je voulais citer quelques mots, mais le blog a disparu, du coup vous pourrez vous faire votre propre idée !

I love this cover ! it’s a pic, took by my pop’ that I heavily manipulated, but in the first place it was a tangle of branches, roots and soil on top of a liquid surface. I believe it illustrates quite well this EP which develops odd and often dissonant, sometimes sharp teints and colors. Technically it’s quite rudimentary : A guitar amp, to run some of the textures through, a set of percussion made with every day objects, three mics, a synth and there we are : a minimal budget production that I’m quite happy I put my hands in. There was once a nice review on a blog that I wanted to quote a bit, but it has disappeared, so I guess you will have your own view !
